Club picnic – July 20, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Lake Wilderness Park – Seven members present at the meeting indicated that they would attend the picnic. The question was is there enough interest to justify the $60.00 cost to reserve the picnic shelter. The secretary was asked to e-mail a survey to the membership with responses due by July 5. A possibility would be to do the club’s Maple Valley YRE then try to find a table or bring tables if only a few are going to attend.
Christmas Party – Joan Grieser reported that Alicia Maxcy investigated the possibility of having the Christmas party at Vince’s Italian restaurant on 324th in Federal Way. The 2 dates that the club is considering are open and she brought sample menus to show the meal selections. Meals will need to be paid for in advance (price will include 9% tax and 15% gratuity added automatically to the bill).
