- National Physical Fitness Patch (for May) and National Volkssport Month Patch (for October) are available to order. Clubs $2.50, individuals $5 each.
- Seasonals lasting more than 3 months (Juneau) now retain the stamp, reports are still due by quarter.
- Sam Korff, AVA NW Regional Director announced the next AVA Convention dates will be April 29 to May 3, 2013 in the Orlando, FL area.
Orders will be taken for the 2013 Starting Points soon. No extra copies will be ordered this year. The price has not been established, but probably $20.00. Suggestion is that we go in with Daffodil Valley again.
Old Business
The DuPont event was not a money maker but it was still a success. The suggestion has been made to possibly change the date to April. Diane will contact the school to see how this change might fit with their schedule. Also, we need to be aware of the dates of other traditional April events in the area so as not to conflict. Alicia Maxcy reminded the club that this was our 20th event in DuPont. Special thanks go to all the volunteers.
Break for the Drawing $12.00 was collected. Dauna Perry won $6.00. $6.00 went to the club.
New Business
NW Trek is coming August 16 which is a Thursday. The work sheet is available for those wanting a special spot. We mark the trail the day before. The salmon dinner is 3-5 p.m.
Events for 2013
Do we want to continue with the DuPont Event, add another event? Should we retain or eliminate any of the YRE’s? These are things to think about before the deadline to sanction events.
Next TOTHG meeting – May 23, 6:30 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
Marianne Bastin, secretary
