Minutes of the January 25, 2012 meeting

Call to Order Club president, Diane Wagner, called the meeting to order at 6:45 p.m. Fourteen members were present.
Minutes of the October 26, 2011 meeting Motion was made, seconded and passed to accept the minutes as submitted.
Treasurer’s Report No report. Club treasurer, Ken Grieser, was ill.
Committee Reports

Auburn/White River Trail – 1
Maple Valley – 8
Membership There are 36 members (paid, honorary and lifetime).
Sales Alicia Maxcy will be ordering new walker packets for DuPont event.
Sickness/Sympathy Ken Grieser has been ill. Everyone deserves sympathy and congratulations on surviving the winter storm.
ESVA
November 5 meeting – Storage unit discussion was tabled until the 1/1/12 meeting.
Clubs will still get 25 copies of the Pathfinder.
January 1 meeting – Storage unit size reduced to smaller size at reduced rate. Next meeting in May will be election of officers.
Old Business
Christmas Party was a success. Thank you to all who came and donated so generously to the Federal Way Food Bank. A bigger thank you goes to Joan Grieser and Alicia Maxcy for their hard work. You made the party special for all of us.
DuPont The event will be held on March 31. Worker’s list was circulated at the meeting. Diane Wagner will go to DuPont next week to check on downed trees and trail conditions.
Starting Points This publication is now here and ready to be picked up.
Break for Drawing $13.00 was collected. Dorothy Bahr won $6.50, the club received $6.50.
New Business Round Table Pizza has changed their policy for meeting times. Available times are 6-7:30 p.m. or 7:45-9:15 p.m. Motion was made, seconded and passed to change the meeting time to 6:30-7:30 p.m.
NW Trek will be closed until March due to storm damage. The event originally scheduled for Feb 4/5 will be rescheduled.
Meeting was adjourned at 7:15 p.m.
