Call to Order Meeting was called to order at 7:05 p.m. by club president, Diane Wagner. Thirteen members were present.
Minutes Motion was made, seconded and passed to accept the minutes of the March 24, 2010 meeting as submitted by secretary, Marianne Bastin.
Treasurer’s Report Ken Grieser, treasurer, reported that the checkbook balance is $2,345.45. The bill for the use of Chloe Clark School during the Dupont events has not been received.

Membership Marianne Bastin reported that club membership is 43.
Sales Alicia Maxcy has record books and club polo shirts for sale.
Sickness/Sympathy Joan Grieser reported that she sent out get well cards to Theola Swann and Marion Puckett.
ESVA Meeting This was held on April 10 in Spokane.
Election of officers – No nominations came from the floor. The new officers are:
President – Dave Olszyk, 1st Vice President – Mike Nagan
2nd Vice President – Nancy Wittenberg, Secretary – Bonnie Tucker
Treasurer – Nancy Regan, Area Coordinator – Fran Carson
Other business – The Daffodil Valley Volkssport Club withdrew their motion regarding after action fees to be used for the NW Pathfinder.
The motion to present a budget at the ESVA meetings passed.
The ESVA NW Pathfinder committee (Bob Morrison, Dave Olszyk and/or President/Vice President) voted to not have YRE/Seasonal directions listed in the NW Pathfinder July/August and November/December issues unless there is an event that starts during that issue. The only thing listed will be city, state, start point name and address, hours of operation, sponsoring club, point of contact telephone and e-mail, YRE number and rating and distance.
ESVA Presidential Awards were presented to:
Dave Olszyk, Nancy Wittenberg, S. Berry (ESVA 25th Anniversary Chair), Nancy Regan, C. Warhol (acting ESVA secretary) and S. Black (A.C. coordinator).
AVA Sam Korff (NW Regional Director) presented “Best in the NW” ribbons to Nancy Wittenberg for the ESVA website and to Bob Morrison for the “Come with me” brochures. He announced a new AVA challenge book starting May 1. The S.N.O.B book will be available (Special National Officers Book). All National Officers have their own stamp, therefore the goal is to get all officers stamps in the book. Jackie Wilson will be retiring August 1. Applications are being accepted for anyone wishing to relocate to Texas.
Old Business
Dupont event was held on March 27. Thanks to all who participated and worked. The weather cooperated and the walkers came. There were 424 participants (225 Historical including 5k and 199 Overlook). Credit was 273 and 151 free with 12 coupon walkers (the club does not have to pay for these). The after action has been paid. The bill for the school has not been received. The porta potty was donated – thanks to the donor.
YRE after action has been paid.
SeaTac Trail now has a start point.
Break for drawing $13.00 was collected. Leonard Bahr won $6.50. $6.50 went to the club.
New Business The NW Trek event is set for June 5. Trail marking will be on Friday, June 4, 9 a.m. Marilyn Viola is the point of contact. Motion was made, seconded and passed to invite Sam Korff to the NW Trek event so event participants can have their S.N.O.B. book (see above) stamped with his stamp.
