THE OVER THE HILL GANG VOLKSSPORT CLUB MEETING
April 26th, 2006

CALL TO ORDER:
Club President Skip Probst called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. There were 14 members in attendance.

TREASURERS REPORT:
Ken Grieser reported a bank balance of $4,916.06.
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
KENT YRE: Dixie Inabnit-Walkers to date: 48
DUPONT YRE: Elayne Chambers – Walkers to date: 18, Bike 7
JUNEAU YRE: Seasonal is closed for the season Opens May 18th, 2006.
SALES: Alicia Maxcy reported that she has record books and shirts available.
MEMBERSHIP: Marianne Bastin was not present, but last month’s figures were 71 paid members, 2 honorary members, and 3 lifetime members for a total of 76.
SICKNESS & SYMPATHY: Joan Grieser sent a get-well card to Skip Probst in regard to his recuperation from his medical procedure.
ESVA REPORT:

OLD BUSINESS:
Dates have been set for the following walks:
Northwest Trek – June 7th, 2007; Dupont – March 17th, 2007; Auburn – August 26th, 2006.
Dupont Walk Report – 546 paid walkers, 247 Free walkers, for a total of 793. 48 paid bikers, 26 Free bikers, for a total of 74. Receipts were $2,499.00, expenses were 2,184.25, for a profit of $314.75.
It was moved, seconded and passed to ask the City of Dupont if they would like to have a quantity of our Dupont hatpins for $1.00 a piece.

NEW BUSINESS:
Bill Stewart received an e-mail from Dick Baker () in regard to having a workshop on preparing publicity for walks. Bill had names pulled out of hat and gave gift of appreciation to members for their work on the Dupont Walk.
Jack Maxcy reported that a new person, the General Manager of the store which is the start point for the Juneau walk, will be handling the walk.
