October 27th 2004 Meeting Minutes

THE OVER THE HILL GANG VOLKSSPORT CLUB MEETING

October 27th , 2004

Held at Round Table Pizza, Auburn, Washington

CALL TO ORDER:
Club Vice President , Skip Probst called the meeting to order at 7:pm. There were members present

MINUTES:
None was received from the club secretary.

CORRESPONDENCE:
The Atlantic Trail Master publication was received.

TREASURERS REPORT:
Ken Grieser  reported the club has a total of $6,958.13 in our check book.

COMMITTEE REPORTS:
KENT YRE: Dixie Inabnit-Walkers to date: 138
FEDERAL WAY YRE: Jack-Walkers to date: 165
DUPONT YRE: Elayne Chambers – Walkers to date: 127, Bike 21
JUNEAU: Jack – Walkers 206
SALES: No report this meeting
MEMBERSHIP: No report this meeting. Last meeting there is a total of 93 including 2 honorary members.
SICKNESS & SYNPATHY: Joan Grieser stated she had send out get-well cards to Bob Heller.
SOCIAL: Carol Walsh: Walks have been cancelled due to the fact of the up and coming Holidays and will resume next year. Those at the meeting were reminded that if planning to attend the Christmas Party to have checks in to Ken or Alicia before December 1st.

ESVA REPORT: None.

REGIONAL DIRECTOR :
October report is on club web site.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
Girl Scout Walk: Oct 10th, there were 207
DuPont Walk: will be March 19th
NW Trek:
 will be June 4th
Auburn Walk , has been approved for Aug 27th

NEW BUSINESS: 
Larry Walsh
 requested that he be elected to the position of Club Representative to ESVA.  He said that he thought he could do more good for TOTHG and other clubs as the club rep.  A motion was made to appoint Larry as the club rep.  It was seconded and a vote was taken which elected him unanimously.
Refund $50 dollars: The club will receive a refund of  $50 from the lost IVV Stamp that was lost at the Dupont start point
Approved Funds:
 The club unanimously voted to approve $125 dollars to Dianne for the Christmas Party
Girl Scouts:
  The Club voted and approved to donate $301 dollars back to the Girl Scouts

 

BREAK FOR DRAWING:
Drawing was held at the end of the meeting, a total of 18 dollars was collected, and half went to the winner

Next meeting will be held in January.
