Old Business
Thank you all for your generosity at the Christmas Party. We had $90 in cash and two big boxes full of food donated to the Federal Way Food Bank. They really appreciated our donation. A check for the club’s monetary donation was mailed.
The club’s DuPont event will be August 25 this year.
Break for drawing $17.00 was collected. Diane Wagner won $8.50 and $8.50 went to the club.
New Business
The second walk sanction in DuPont for August will be submitted. Diane Wagner will contact Jerry Williams to find out what route the DuPont Historical Society wants for the first walk so we won’t overlap any more than necessary for the second walk.
The mid-week walks offered by Daffodil Valley Volkssport and Capitol Volkssport are available on line. Daffodil walks Wednesday mornings. Capitol walks Thursday mornings. Both clubs offer carpooling if you contact them.
Diane Wagner, with input from several club members, explained what Volkssporting is all about and how to participate for the benefit of our guests. Following the meeting all four of our guests decided to join TOTHG. Welcome Susie Shepherd, Jackie Simkins, Kim Barkley and Laurie Humphreys!
Meeting was adjourned at 7:21 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
Marianne Bastin, secretary
